Q – How long will you need my car when applying paint protection?
A – At least one full day, but may require overnight depending on original paint condition. We'll be flexible on time frames but won't be flexible on quality.

 

Q – What are the benefits of ceramic paint protection?
A – Your car keeps looking shiny for years – as opposed to waxes and sealants which only last for a couple of months (at best). Your paint will be less prone to damage from droppings (birds etc) and other marks such as bugs. Not only will your paint shine longer, but Car Armour paint protection reduces maintenance and saves time when washing car. 

 

Q – What parts of the car is the paint protection applied?
A – We apply the Car Armour paint protection product to all exterior plastic and panel work.

Q – What other surfaces can ceramic paint protection be applied to?
A – In addition to the exterior plastic and panel application, we can apply the ceramic paint protection to alloy wheels, windows and door jambs.  Please ask us for further details and pricing.

Q – Maintenance….any tips?
A – We have plenty of tips. Here are a few.

• Avoid washing your car until 2 weeks after the product is applied – this is to allow the paint protection to cure to its optimal state.

• Wash your car using a PH neutral car wash soap (containing no waxes) and a clean washing mitten.

• If your car is dusty, don’t wipe it over…the dust is like tiny rocks on the paint work and will cause scratches.  

• Avoid using automatic car washes.

• Be careful who you get to wash and detail your car.  Harsh products or someone using the wrong techniques will cause damage to the paint work. 

• We recommend a paint protection maintenance visit every 12 months.  This involves paint decontamination (to remove contaminants such as tar, iron particles, tree sap) and application of a paint protection topper.  Please ask us for pricing details.
